Mr. Miller earned a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from the University of Maryland, which provided a strong foundation for his work as an All-Source Analytic Technician. His military career includes extensive training and experience in airborne operations, with qualifications that include being Airborne-qualified and skilled in HALO (High Altitude Low Opening) parachute jumps—where he performed jumps from over 30,000 feet, utilizing oxygen bottles and masks for survival at high altitudes. He is also a Pathfinder and has demonstrated proficiency as an expert in the use of rifles, pistols, and hand grenades.
Mr. Miller’s military accomplishments extend across international borders. He earned Paratrooper Wings from Israel and served with distinction in operations across Central and South America for the Department of Justice. His career is marked by numerous honors, including the Silver Star, the Legion of Merit, two Defense Meritorious Service Medals, four Army Commendation Medals, the Army Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Joint Service Achievement Medal.
Now retired from the U.S. Army, Mr. Miller remains actively engaged with the veteran community through his membership in the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). In his free time, he enjoys the tranquility of fly fishing, a passion that complements his storied military career.
